Rovio, the Finnish developer behind the Angry Birds series, dismisses staff again. Up to 260 people have left the company.

If since then no additional staff is added, it would now be up to another nearly 40 percent of the remaining staff. Rovio itself has not disclosed how many percent of the workforce is affected by the redundancies.
Last month, Rovio released Angry Birds 2 out, the latest sequel to the popular series of mobile games. The game was downloaded nearly 50 million times, but there was also strong criticism from reviewers.
